Just about to fly from New York to Dallas,Texas so I guess I will fly over some of those rivers and states Amie.I'll send my big daughter Louise out to buy a few of those New York T shirts for those who choose to answer.

I first heard of Goldman Sachs from their strong community work in the UK. They have a commitment to using their resources (people) to help others. Each year, a team of employees from Goldman Sachs come to work at the Scout HQ in Billericay, Essex to help maintain the building. What I hadn't appreciated was the history that you have discovered above, founded in 1869. I always imagined them to be a relatively new bank.

The four biggest rivers in the USA are: Mississippi, Colorado, Rio Grande and Ohio.
(Mississippi River) Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, Arkansasm, Louisiana, Mississippi.
(Colorado) Texas.
(Rio Grande) Colorado, New Mexico, Texas.
(Ohio) Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana.

(Rio Grande) El Paso: Population of 598,590 people, its the 6th largest city in Texas and the 21st largest in USA. It is on the Mexican Border.
(Mississippi) New Orleans: Is one of the oldest cities in America, it is considered the birthplace of Jazz and has been called the 'Most unique city in America'. Annual Mardi Gras carnivals are held. In 2005 it was devastated by flooding after Hurricane Katrina hit followed by Hurricane Rita.
(Colorado) Austin: Is the 16th largest city in USA and the 4th largest in Texas, it has a population of 690,252 people. First record of settlement was in 1835 when the city was called Waterloo but was renamed in 1839 in honour of Stephen F Austin.
(Ohio) Cincinnati: Has a population of 331,310 people, it is home to major-league sports such as baseball, football and hockey. It is nicknamed 'The Queen City' and was the first major American 'Boomtown'.

Some thoughtful work guys ,well done.
I'm back in the United States ( New York,Dallas,Houston) so time for another challenge.Good answers will be rewarded with (small) American gift.
Jess....How many states in the United States of America.Name 10 of them with one sentence on each of the 10 on why they are unique.
Amie....Name 4 of the biggest rivers ,10 states they flow through and 4 cities built on these rivers.One paragraph on each of these cities would be good.
Amy.....Name the two oceans either side of the USA and the countries bordering it to the north and south.Name the 5 Great Lakes.Two paragraphs each about those countries to the north and south of the USA.
