2006 ICT Summer Workshops - Shark: The Animation

This animation was created in the Summer ICT Workshop. We used the Chroma Key technique
( more commonly known as "Green Screen" ) to fill the green background with the image/colour of our choice.

We had encountered many problems with Chroma Key including not enough or too much light but we felt that it was best if we stuck with it, and that it gave a more professional finish than if we used iStopmotion.

Also with thanks to Alice from HemiHelp, who made the shark !

Hi guys. This shark animation looks great! I've been trying to use some Blue Screen which was given to me by www.bristolpaint.com so that I could get some people literally walking on the menus and button bars of a website that i'm making. I've had no luck. What software do you use to replace the background? Can the background be animated itself?

My previous attempt at getting an animated person on a website looks at bit strange since I animated him frame by frame... www.swagsandtailsinteriors.co.uk

Hope you all had a great time at sailing.Did Carol go in a boat too. I can't wait to have the School Council meeting with you. I will be on Video in my dinning room. So hope you come up with a few items to talk about.Hope you guys enjoyed your week in school. I missed being around you guys i bet it very quite with out me.I would really like somebody to comment back it will be nice hear from you.I hope Dom is ready for the School Council meeting.?:-) any must dash as i need to think about what things i would like to say in this meeting.

Hello all Hope you had a good week in school only one more day to go.I hope you all enjoyed sailing this morning.Poor Jo i hoope she will get better soon. I hope Dom has a few thing to talk about in School Council.I will be there but on a video I hope you are all well.I do miss being around you all.
